Industrial park to be developed in Nigeria’s Enugu State
According to local press, Enugu State Government, Nigeria, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China’s Goalmark Group regarding the establishment of an industrial park in the region. The industrial park will include cement, coal, power and water treatment facilities, opening the way to continued local and foreign investment in the state. The site will also feature a school to train workers.
The industrial park forms part of State Governor Sullivan Chime’s plans to strengthen the region’s infrastructure and drive economic development. The State Government has already earmarked land for the new park and is hopeful that the Goalmark Group will soon start work on the project.
