World Cement,
Hangzhou HOTA M&E Company, Ltd. has successfully bid for all the bucket elevators and chain conveyors of two 6000 tpd lines of Biskra Cement in Algeria, a turnkey project by CBMI from China. The height of the belt bucket elevator for the kiln feed system is 112 m with 540 tph capacity.
In 2013, when Biskra Cement was setting up its first 2000 tpd line built by another Chinese contractor, HOTA manufactured the kiln feed belt bucket elevator. Thus, the owner demonstrated a preference for HOTA due to previous experiences.
Meanwhile, HOTA has been involved with elevators and chain conveyors in two other cement plants in Algeria. One is owned by Lafargeholcim in the Biskra Province and another is owned by a local STG group in the southwestern Adrar Province.
