Dangote Cement holds distributor awards ceremony
Dangote Cement held an awards ceremony in Lagos in recognition of the commitment and contribution made by its cement distributors across Nigeria. The event, which took ‘Cementing Partnership’ as its theme, looked to deepen Dangote Cement’s relationship with its distributors in order to increase value for all stakeholders. The cement manufacturer gave out N800 million worth of bonuses, with distributors receiving between N2 million and N60 million for the 2012 period.
Speaking at the event, Aliko Dangote said: "Dangote Cement’s success story would not have been possible without you, our distributors, who work tirelessly to ensure that the product gets to our customers in every nook and cranny of the country. We can never thank you enough! You have been an integral and vital part of our business over the years."
