ANH Refractories turns its attention to the cement sector in the Middle East

World Cement,

After a period of intensive testing and research, ANH Refractories has revised its product portfolio with the aim of increasing sales to the cement industry in the Middle East. The products are manufactured in ANH Refractories Europe’s UK-based plant, before being distributed to customers around the world.

“This move will help to boost exports with the firm targeting cement manufacturers across the Middle East, Europe, and India, as well as the US,” commented ANH Europe Managing Director Peter Rooney. “Our profile on a global scale is continuing to rise and we are striving to make improvements to further boost our reputation. […] ANH Europe has recently expanded its sales and engineering teams, including the appointment of Stephan Frank, a senior refractory engineer, hired to drive exports in emerging cement markets including Turkey, Ukraine and India,” he added.

The company has recently supplied its products to Lafarge’s Retznei Austria, the Holcim Ste. Genevieve plant in the US and HeidelbergCement’s Ketton plant in the UK.
