World Cement,
Nominations for the Women in Construction awards are now open.
The 4th Annual Women in Construction Awards cocktail evening will take place on 10 May 2016 at the Gallagher Convention Centre, Johannesburg, South Africa. The African Construction and Totally Concrete Expo will host the event.
The women in Construction awards is a collaborative platform that is dedicated to recognising excellence within the construction, cement and concrete industry in Africa. The awards categories recognise women who are pioneers within the built environment, and also highlights ‘new starters’ under 30 years, who have been identified as ‘ones to watch’ while they get a foothold within their sector. The awards also acknowledge organisations that have focused on the development of women’s roles through innovative training programmes, as well as demonstrating their commitment to the development of women’s careers within the industry.
Anyone can nominate a candidate organisation, and self-nominations are also accepted.
