According to reports, China Triumph International Engineering Group Co. (CTIEC) has signed a contract to develop a 1.5 million tpa cement plant in Algeria. The contract was signed with STG Engineering and Real Estate Development Company and involves a complete production line from mining to finished cement dispatch. The plant will be located in Adrar, Algeria and will have a daily cement production capacity of 4200 t. Included in the annual output will be 200 000 t of oil well cement – the first time CTIEC technology has been chosen for oil well cement production in Algeria.
