World Cement,
Arabian Cement Co. (ACC) plans to build a new brownfield cement line in Rabigh, Saudi Arabia, with a clinker capacity of 10 000 tpd. In order to increase cement-grinding capacities before the new line is completed, ACC placed an order with the China National Building Materials Group Corporation (CNBM) for a cement grinding plant, including two LOESCHE vertical roller mills.
LOESCHE will supply ACC with two large vertical roller grinding mills of Type LM 63.3+3, with a table dia. of 6.3 m and a main drive size of 7400 kW.
The project will be executed according to a Fast-Track Concept that ensures a project schedule, from contract effectiveness to PAC, of only 13 months. Under the Fast-Track Concept, LOESCHE will not only supply the mills but also all process related equipment, including filters, fans and hot gas generators, along with the complete basic engineering of the grinding plant to ensure a state-of-the-art plant design.
