World Cement,
Sinoma reports that the 6000 tpd Sephaku Cement clinker line was successfully ignited and put into production. The project is contracted to Sinoma Nanjing. A ceremony was held to mark the occasion, attended by representatives of the employer and the contractor.
This South African project has been given great importance by Sinoma, which has dealt with problems such as delayed drawing approval, late equipment arrival and strict local regulations to ensure the smooth running of the project. The targets of ignition and production were successfully realised on 15 August.
The project is still ongoing and Sinoma is now focused on the next stage and the completion of commissioning.
