ZPC makes modifications, boosts output by 10%
In Zambia, Zambezi Portland Cement Limited (ZPC) has reportedly increased production from 1100 tpd to 1300 tpd. The increase came with the modification of machinery and installation of unspecified new equipment. In addition to this, the plant is soon to commission a new US$2 million loading area to improve the process of loading the vehicles. Along with these improvements, ZPC is installing a new washing and screening plant to process waste aggregate at the crusher and new raw material storage. A further US$1 million will be spent on pollution control to meet the required standards in the country.
