World Cement,
On 10 December, the CHRYSO group concluded its acquisition of Corrotech Qatar, which is a Doha based company that has quickly developed on the Qatari market. Corrotech Qatar holds a leadership position on the market of concrete admixtures and supplementary cementitious materials (flyash, micro silica and slag).
Corrotech Qatar is the main supplier for a number of significant construction projects, such as the International Airport of Doha, the Lusail Expressway, the Pearl Qatar and the Rail Green Line.
With this acquisition, Chryso strengthens its position in the Gulf area thanks to this new industrial base. The 19th subsidiary of the group will soon be named CHRYSO Qatar, and will offer the comprehensive CHRYSO technologies dedicated to the concrete and cement markets.
