FLSmidth to supply Al Khalij Cement with new production line

FLSmidth is to provide a cement production line for Al Khalij Cement’s plant in Umm Bab, around 100 km east of the Qatari capital Doha. The order comprises all principal equipment, including conveyor transport, mills, the complete pyroprocessing line, electrical and automation systems, as well as filters. The new production line will be identical to an existing line at the plant, which was supplied by FLSmidth in 2007.

The new line will be provided in cooperation with China’s CNBM International Engineering. CNBM will serve as the turnkey contractor while FLSmidth will supply equipment and engineering services.
