Gebr. Pfeiffer Inc., a subsidiary of Gebr. Pfeiffer SE, has supplied ULTRACEM with an MPS 3350 BC vertical roller mill together with a complete cement grinding plant. The plant was started up in October 2013, just 9 months after delivery.
The cement grinding plant includes a rotary air lock with drive, MPS 3350 BC mill, an SLS 2900 BC high efficiency classifier, and Gebr. Pfeiffer’s patented “Lift and Swing” technology, which greatly improves maintenance efficiency. The plant will be able to produce a variety of products using this mill, from OPC to slag and limestone cements.
Other plant equipment will include a bagfilter, fan, hot gas generator, bucket elevator, weighfeeder and two conveyors. The plant will come complete with a feed system with deduster and metal separator, as well as various fabricated parts including a 20 t silo, ducting, dampers and stack. Gebr Pfeiffer will additionally supply instrumentation and engineering services.
ULTRACEM is a family-owned cement company run by Juan Manuel Ruiseco Gutierrez as CEO and his brother, Nicolas Ruiseco Gutierrez as Executive Vice President.
