Cementos Argos has dispatched 22 978 m3 of concrete to the largest wastewater treatment plant in the Carribbean. This is the equivalent of about 4000 mixer trucks.
The La Zurza treatment plant will benefit up to half a million inhabitants from 37 sectors of the National District and the province of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic.
The plant will be the largest wastewater treatment plant in the Carribbean and will have a capacity of 27 million gal./sec. of treated water being returned to the river flow.
Argos will continue to be a strategic supplier in the second stage of the project.
