Putney partners with Argos for cement terminal acquisition

Putney Capital Management, LLC has announced that it has made a strategic investment in a cement terminal in Puerto Rico together with Cementos Argos. As previously reported, the terminal will provide an annual capacity of 250 000 t and represents a substantial market share in Puerto Rico.

Cementos Argos increases presence in Puerto Rico

Colombia’s Cementos Argos has acquired a 60% stake in Wetvan Overseas, which operates a terminal for the reception, storage and distribution of cement in Puerto Rico.

Argos acquires Ciments Guyanais from Lafarge

Argos has announced the acquisition of Ciments Guyanais in French Guiana. The purchase is in line with the Colombian cement manufacturer’s expansion plans, allowing it to increase its presence in the Caribbean.
