Argentina’s Portland cement plants dispatched 802 573 t of cement in February 2014, including exports. This figure is 13.9% lower than the volumes dispatched in January 2014 and 4.4% lower than in February 2013.
According to Argentina’s Association of Portland Cement Manufacturers (AFCP), its members sold 783 917 t of cement on the domestic market in the second month of 2014 (not including imports). This marks a decline of 13.9% m/m and 3.1% y/y.
