Dalmia Cement Ltd. has reiterated its commitment to nation building by playing a key role in the construction of the Dhola-Sadiya bridge. The bridge connects Arunachal Pradesh to Assam, and was inaugurated on 26 May by Prime Minister, Shri Narenda Modi.
Dhola-Sadiya is India's longest bridge, spanning a distance of 9.15 kms across the Brahmaputra.
Dalmia Cement Lt. supplied 17 000 t of the highest grade cement for this milestone project, realized through a consortium of companies.
Mr. Puneet Dalmia, Managing Director, Dalmia Bharat Group said, "It is a very salient moment as a key partner in achieving the landmark Dhola-Sadiya bridge which will cut down travel time between Assam and Arunachal Pradesh by as much as four hours.
