IKN has announced that on 17th February 2016 the management of Attock Cement Pakistan Limited and IKN GmbH came to an agreement on the supply of a second latest generation IKN Pendulum Cooler.
The cooler has a capacity of 4000 tpd and will be supplied for Attock’s new line 3. This agreement comes only shortly after the order for a new IKN static inlet (KIDS) for line 1. Both orders show the confidence and trust that Attock Cement has placed in IKN, based on its experience with the IKN Pendulum Cooler which has been in operation in line 2 since 2006.
IKN has been awarded a contract for the engineering, supply and installation of a complete 4000 tpd pyro line - from raw meal feeding to clinker discharge - at Burglengenfeld/Germany.
The International Finance Corporation, together with the IIP, has published a report on ‘Waste Heat Recovery for the Cement Sector: Market and Supplier Analysis’, and plans to encourage the take-up of WHR technology in growth markets.
The 6th CBC took place in São Paulo in May after a gap of 15 years. The event, which was attended by some 300 local and international cement industry representatives, included a high quality technical programme and an engaging exhibition.
