ACC win CII-ITC Sustainability Award

ACC has been recognised for Corporate Excellence in Sustainability, and has been awarded the CII-ITC Sustainability Award 2015 for ‘Outstanding Accomplishment’ in the category for companies with a turnover of under 2000 crores. This is one of the country’s most coveted awards in the field of corporate sustainable development.

The award was presented to ACC’s CEO Harish Badami at the awards function in New Dehli on 15 December 2015, by a panel led by Mr Suresh Prabhu, Mr Y.C. Deveshwar, Dr R.A. Mashelkar, Ambassador Mr Shyam Saran and Mr Chandrajit Banerjee.

ACC is the only company in the cement industry to win in this group, and this marks the second time the company has received the award, the first time being in 2013.
