Former CEO of Breedon South, Tim Hall has joined SigmaRoc’s board of directors as a non-executive director. Hall helped Breedon to become a billion pound business and one of the UK’s major suppliers of heavy construction materials. This was done through rapid growth and the successful execution of a buy and build strategy.

Hall’s board appointment comes at a time of significant growth and development for SigmaRoc. The company recently acquired a 40% stake in Gerald D. Harries, with an option to buy the remainder of the business by August 2020. This acquisition set the cornerstone for SigmaRoc’s activity in the Southwest region of the UK. This was preceded by another significant acquisition of Cheshire Concrete Products in the Manchester and Liverpool area.

“I would like to welcome Tim to the board of the company,” said David Barrett, Chairman of SigmaRoc. “Tim joins us at a great time in our evolution, having just closed a significant transaction. The group is now in a great position to benefit from Tim’s access and knowledge as one of the industry’s foremost executives.”

“Tim joining the board is a great next step for us,” said Max Vermorken, CEO of SigmaRoc. “As a small team, we all contribute to the evolution of our business and adding Tim to that mix will most certainly accelerate our development further.”
