Klüber Lubrication has once again been awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal, a recognition awarded to the top 5% of companies assessed by EcoVadis in the 12 months prior to the medal issue date.
This marks the fifth consecutive year that the specialty lubricants manufacturer has received the Gold rating. With 85 points, Klüber Lubrication has reached its highest score yet.
The EcoVadis methodology evaluates management systems in four themes: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The assessment is based on documented policies, actions, and results, and considers sector, size, and geography. In all four themes, Klüber Lubrication achieved scores of 80 points or more out of a possible 100 points – for the first time.
As EcoVadis explains, the Gold rating “reflects the quality of the company's sustainability management system and demonstrates a commitment to promoting transparency throughout the value chain.”

Over the past years, Klüber Lubrication has systematically advanced its sustainability strategy, with clear targets for reducing CO2 emissions across Scopes 1 – 3, expanding renewable energy use, and enhancing the performance of its specialty lubricants portfolio.
