Summit Materials Inc. has announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Steven H. Wunning as a new Director. He will also serve on the Compensation Committee.
Tom Hill, CEO of Summit, commented: “We welcome Steve, with his more than 40 years of industry experience leading global operations and driving improved performance. Steve brings to the Board a valuable perspective as a successful business executive and seasoned board member. His deep acumen in managing expanding organisations, implementing best-in class logistics practices and integrating complex acquisitions will be a positive contribution to Summit’s materials-based growth objectives.”
Howard Lance, Chairman of Summit, added: “We are delighted that Steve has agreed to join our Board. Steven H. Wunning served as Group President and Executive Office Member for Caterpillar Inc. from January 2004 until his retirement in February 2015.
