Castolin Eutectic has moved its Chinese division, Eutectic Castolin China, into new facilities near Pudong New Area, Shanghai. The 3200 m2 factory is twice as large as the former facilities.

The company manufactures CDP® wearplates and cored wires and plans to add to its range in 2016 with additional standard CDP® production lines, plasma cutting machines and bending/rolling equipment for customised wear parts production. The subsidiary also offers workshop and in-situ welding/coating services by plasma transferred arc and arc spray.

“We are very enthusiastic about this investment: it’s a new facility, that will allow us to grow to new and higher levels, offering our customers a more complete service range,” says Kah Bin Sew, CEO of Eutectic Castolin China for the last 10 years.
