FLSmidth Pfister and FLSmidth Ventomatic, subsidiaries of Danish engineering company, FLSmidth A/S, have appointed Stephan Oehme to the new position of Global Sales Director.
Oehme holds a degree in mechanical engineering. Before joining FLSmidth, he spent 23 years at Claudius Peters, most recently as Director of Sales and Technology.
Part of his role will be the expansion of Pfister and Ventomatic’s business beyond the cement industry, where they both play a leading role, into “adjacent business areas through organic growth”, Oehme said in a statement.
Acquired by FLSmidth in 1998 and based in Augsberg, Germany, FLSmidth Pfister supplies dosing systems for fuels and materials at cement and minerals plants.
FLSmidth Ventomatic joined FLSmidth in 1992 and supplies packaging and delivery solutions for cement and minerals. The company is based in Valbrembo in Italy with a subsidiary in Gurgaon, India.
