QMS was recently appointed the sole mainland UK and Channel Islands distributor for Propel Industries. The company, part of the Propel Group, is India’s largest and leading manufacturer of both stationary and mobile equipment for the extractive industries. In order to provide UK companies in the aggregates, quarrying, surface mining and recycling industries with these leading ranges, QMS will be introducing an array of Propel’s solutions in the coming months.

As one of Europe’s major suppliers of crushing and screening equipment and aftermarket care, QMS has always striven to supply the industries it serves with the very best investment value. The recently announced link up with Propel Industries pairs QMS technical experience with a comprehensive equipment portfolio throughout the UK and Channel Islands. The Propel range has been proven to be highly productive and efficient, purpose designed for sustainable operations.

The partnership between the two industry leading companies will see QMS initially distribute and promote the Propel range of tracked mobile crushers and screens, perfectly complementing the QMS established range of static aggregate processing equipment. In the first instance, the Propel range of tracked equipment to be introduced includes:

  • Track mounted jaw crushers (TMJ Series) – Designed for high capacity primary crushing, featuring large feed openings and exceptional mobility for quarrying, surface mining, and recycling applications.
  • Track mounted cone crushers (TMC/QM Series) – Purpose developed to deliver consistent product gradation and high production rates, the series delivers an optimised combination of crusher speed, throw and chamber design.
  • Track mounted vertical shaft impactors (VSI) – The range produces high quality, cubical aggregates with proven performance, durability and cost efficiency.
  • Track mounted screens and scalpers – Available in multiple deck configurations, providing efficient material classification, scalping and final product screening for complete mobile processing solutions.

Designed for sustainable operations

A key strength of the Propel equipment ranges lies in the use of sustainable, energy efficient technologies throughout. Propel mobile crushers and screens incorporate onboard electric generators which significantly reduce fuel consumption, operating costs, and emissions when compared to traditional diesel only machines. Further enhancing efficiency, Propel equipment integrates the proprietary Propel Drive System. This includes electric motor driven head pulleys, which deliver improved energy transfer, reduced mechanical losses, and more consistent performance in demanding applications.

With these and other features, the Propel tracked range delivers a complete mobile crushing and screening solution, combining high productivity, rapid setup times, operational efficiency and the flexibility required for today's demanding quarrying, surface mining and recycling operations. From primary crushing through to final screening, Propel equipment is engineered to deliver reliable performance and high quality end products.

Performance married to support

“We are truly excited about the possibilities of the Propel range of mobile crushing and screening equipment,” says QMS managing director Jonathan Beck. “This means our customers will gain access to a comprehensive range of aggregate processing equipment. Propel offers field proven fuel efficient and sustainable advanced integrated mobile and stationary crushing, screening and washing systems.”

The equipment is just part of the story however, as all crushers and screens need to be supported in the field and proactively maintained. “As Europe’s leading provider of crusher and screen aftermarket support and spare parts, we will be able to provide full support for the Propel mobile range, from comprehensive sales to service, maintenance and aftermarket support from the highly experienced and professional QMS team. This collaboration has been formed to strengthen our capabilities, delivering even greater value through market leading aggregate processing solutions,” concludes Jonthan Beck.

QMS will be introducing the Propel Industries range of mobile crushers and screens in the coming months.
