  • HeidelbergCement has announced the winners of the national Quarry Life Award 2014 for Indonesia, North America, Northern Europe, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic and Poland.
  • Muhammad Khan, Environmental Manager at Titan Florida’s Pennsuco plant, provided a case study entitled ‘Titan Florida’s Ecological Restoration’ at the Wildlife Habitat Council’s Annual Symposium.

European construction fell by 1.8% in September

In September 2014, seasonally adjusted production in the construction sector fell by 1.8% in the euro area (EA18) and by 0.9% in the EU28 compared to August.
