Consumption of cement in Spain has fallen again by 7.2% in October, standing at 936 568 t, the lowest figure for this month since the beginning of the century.
This decrease represents a loss of 72 969 t compared to the same month last year. This figure puts the accumulated fall in the first 10 months at 3.4%.
Between January and October a total of 9 328 077 t of cement have been consumed in Spain, 324 831 t less than in the same period of 2015. Just two months after the end of the year, the figures continue to indicate that 2016 will be paid in Negative, with a drop of more than 3%, in line with the forecasts made by Oficemen last July.
