TOC Europe is a global meeting place for ports, terminals, shipping lines, 3PLs & shippers. The exhibition is a showcase for port and terminal technology and operations in relation to different segments in the shipping industry.

BIMCO launched the Cyber Security Guidelines in January 2016, aiming to provide the shipping industry clear and comprehensive information on cyber security risks to ships. Cyber threats are constantly changing and BIMCO, together with other industry associations, will regularly update the cyber guidelines to ensure shipping companies have the latest information available.

BIMCO Shipping Market Analysis began in 2009 and its regular report, "Shipping market overview and outlook" is featured in the BIMCO Bulletin and on the BIMCO website. The report outlines the current and future macroeconomic factors affecting the shipping industry, and gives a detailed analysis of the three main shipping markets: dry bulk, tanker and container.

In addition to these regular reports, BIMCO market analysis provides members with focused analytical articles on different aspects of the shipping industry.

BIMCO Report: Container Shipping (Part 4)

The final installment of BIMCO's Shipping Market Overview & Outlook focuses on container shipping. Leaking demand has affected freight rates, as operators hesitate to adjust supply firmly enough to match up.

BIMCO Report: Dry bulk shipping (Part 2)

Demand is still growing slower than the fleet is. However, with Chinese stimulus and winter just around the corner, this sliding trend in freight rates could reverse.

BIMCO Report: Macroeconomics (Part 1)

Peter Sand explains how macroecomics are moving more firmly but still slowly in the right direction as recent actions support the moderate positive outlook for 2013 and onwards. However, many uncertainties remain to be dealt with.
