Eurocement has officially opened a new grinding plant for the semi-dry cement production line at its Mordovcement plant. The opening was attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Mordovia, Vladimir Sushkov, as well as the Chairman of Eurocement Group, Filaret Galchov.
The new grinding plant completes the semi-dry production line at Mordovcement, which also has both wet and dry lines. Eurocement investest RUB5 billion in the new plant, including RUB500 million in 2018.
The new grinding complex includes two ball mills with a capacity of 2.6 million tpy, a 50 000 t clinker storage facility, and cement silos. Suppliers to the plant included Christian Pfeiffer, Claudius Peters, Aumund, and KHD Humboldt Wedag.
