World Cement,

Donaldson Company, Inc. plans to build a filter manufacturing plant in Skarbimierz, Poland. The plant, which is expected to commence operations in 2015, will produce heavy-duty air filters. The facility will be 108 000 ft.2 with the capacity for expansion in the future. The expansion plans will allow Donaldson to better meet the needs of clients in Europe and Russia. It will be the company’s third facility in Central and Eastern Europe, following the opening of sites in the Czech Republic in 2003 and 2006.

“We are very pleased to add this new, state-of-the-art facility to our extensive manufacturing and distribution base in Europe and have appreciated the ongoing support of the Polish government and local Skarbimierz officials,” stated Wim Vermeersch, Vice President, Europe, Middle East and Northern Africa. “Based on our company's Strategic Growth Plan, this new plant will allow us to further increase our filter manufacturing capacity to meet our projected OEM and Aftermarket Customer demand throughout Europe and Russia.”
