A Scottish building materials company has taken delivery of a Metso Lokotrack LT120 mobile jaw crusher. The crusher was received at Tillicoultry Quarries’ Northfield quarry and will be used for production across the company’s quarries.
“The Lokotrack LT120 will give use the capacity and mobility we need to ensure full flexibility in all applications,” said Andrew Shakestaff, Area Production Manager and Tillicoulty Quarries. “The LTI120 matches our specifications, comes with a top-end reputation in terms of quality, and has been proven in hard rock applications.”
The crusher will be initially used to crush basalt at Northfield quarry, but will then be moved around the company’s hard rock quarries for “development workings and [to] supplement fixed processes with additional volume capacity when required,” Metso said in a press release.
Tillicoultry Quarries supplies a wide range of construction materials to Central Scotland’s construction industry, including aggregates, sand and gravel, asphalt, and ready-mixed concrete.
