Eurocement announces increased production in 2018

According to its 2018 results, the Voronezh branch of the Eurocement Group Holding increased its production volumes compared with those of 2017. Distinguished employees have received awards for their contributions.

The company has stated that it has steadily been increasing its production performance for five years. In 2018, the Voronezh branch of the Eurocement Group produced 1 870 000 t of high-quality cement – 3% (or 62 000 t) more than in 2017. Cement shipment to consumers has also been recorded to have increased by 5% (or 83 000 t) for the year to 1 881 000 t.

The Voronezh branch broke the monthly shipment record twice in 2018. In June the plant shipped 202 000 t of cement to buyers and in August it reached the maximum monthly shipment of products to consumers since the plant started – 206 000 t of cement.

Sergey Lobov, Manager of the Voronezh branch, has congratulated the team on its new achievement and awarded employees who distinguished themselves in 2018.

For example, Mikhail Yepanchintsev, Deputy Chief Engineer and Head of the Repair Planning and Cost Control Department, received the Certificate of Honour for his personal contribution to the development of the construction industry, conscientious work, and the successful fulfilment of production tasks. Further awards were given for conscientious work and repair and maintenance.

The Voronezh branch of the Eurocement Group is one of the most modern plants of the Holding, using the latest solutions and advanced equipment. The company has stated that employees of the plant continuously improve their competencies in conjunction with colleagues from other enterprises that are part of the holding. In 2018, 11 events were held and more than 400 employees were able to improve their knowledge and skills.
