The awards are part of a VWP initiative to celebrate renowned brands that have demonstrated high levels of reliability and sustainability. Brands are selected from a number of Asian countries, with research supported by White Page International and Ernst and Young as process advisors.

JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd reported a 31% y/y increase in profit for the quarter ended 31 December 2014. Sales volumes and revenues were also up, rising by 6% and 10.3% y/y, respectively.
