The team was introduced to CBMA’s technological advances in research and their application to cement, concrete and admixtures, and CBMA invited Cemex to the 14th International Congress on the Chemistry of Cement, to be held in October in Beijing. In return, Zambini praised CBMA and its achievements.

On the same day, Peng Shou, Chairman and President of China Triumph Engineering Co. Ltd., met with a team led by the President of RHI, Franz Strulz, and the China President of RHI, Marco Olszewsky, to strengthen the long-term favourable partnership between RHI and CTIEC. It was hoped that both parties could enhance their cooperation on R&D and solidify communication for the purpose of joint development and tighter association.

On 3 August, a delegation led by Global Vice President of Votorantim, Edvaldo Rabelo, visited Beijing Triumph International Co. Ltd. The visit was important for strengthening the cooperation between the two parties after a delegation from CNBM visited Votorantim at the end of 2012.
