The World Cement Association (WCA) announce that PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk has joined the Association as a Corporate Member.
PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk is one of Indonesia's leading building materials producers and solution providers. Majority-owned by PT Semen Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (SIG), the company operates four cement plants with a combined annual production capacity of 14.86 million t, located in Narogong (West Java), Cilacap (Central Java), Tuban (East Java), and Lhoknga, Aceh through its subsidiary, PT Solusi Bangun Andalas.
Beyond cement production, the company's business encompasses ready-mix concrete, aggregates, and environmentally friendly waste management solutions, supported by more than 1700 employees across its operations. Its cement productions are certified with the Green Label by the Green Product Council Indonesia and obtained the Green Industry certification issued by the Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia.
Sustainability is central to Solusi Bangun Indonesia's long-term business strategy. By 2030, the company has committed to reducing CO2 emissions by 29%, processing more than 1.5 million tpy of waste into alternative fuels and raw materials, optimising water efficiency, and revitalising post-mining land. The company also continues to invest in product innovation, workplace safety, and community development programmes that have benefited more than 2.3 million people since 2019.
