Initially forming a representative office in Malaysia in 2016, Gebr. Pfeiffer most recently established a private limited company, with the intention of more fully supporting its clients in the Southeast Asia region.
Gebr. Pfeiffer Malaysia will have seven staff, aiming to grow further in the coming years with exciting new projects in the Southeast Asia region. It will offer presales, technical, and service support from its office in Kuala Lumpur, while also maintaining one of four global spare parts centres, offering shorter delivery times for critical spare and wear parts.
Gebr. Pfeiffer has 154 years of experience in engineering and manufacturing and has stated that it is proud to retain its technology and manufacturing centre in Germany. The company is keen to maintain its commitment to the highest quality standards, differentiating itself in an increasingly competitive market.
The company has a focus on the cement industry, understanding the importance of operational security. This was a primary driver behind the company’s unique MVR mill and MultiDrive® system. Gebr. Pfeiffer also understands that an investment in a state-of-the-art vertical roller mill is an investment both in technology and Gebr. Pfeiffer people. The company has stated that, when operating any commercial plant, close client relationships and rapid response times are critical.
With its new office in Kuala Lumpur, Gebr. Pfeiffer believes that it is well positioned to serve regional clients and partners in Southeast Asia.
