FLSmidth receives minerals orders in the Middle East

FLSmidth has received four contracts, each worth approximately €40 million (approximately DKK 300 million), from a company in the Middle East for engineering services and minerals equipment.

Each order entails the supply of one SAG mill, two ball mills, with associated pebble crusher, screens, pumps and cyclones, along with engineering services and auxiliary equipment.

The contracts will contribute beneficially to FLSmidth's earnings until 2013.

The announcement follows the company’s recent agreement to acquire the assets of Knelson, a Canadian company active in the minerals industry.

FLSmidth has signed an agreement to acquire the assets of the privately owned company Knelson, a Canada based corporate partnership that is active within the minerals industries.

FLSmidth acquires Phillips Kiln Services

FLSmidth has signed a share purchase agreement to acquire 100% shareholding in Phillips Kiln Service. The deal is a natural extension of FLSmidth’s Customer Services business.
