Siwertell has received a repeat order for a 10 000 S Next Generation road-mobile unloader from a company based in the Middle East. Booked in 2Q17, the order will allow the end-user to expand its white and grey cement operations, supporting its existing road-mobile unloader.
The trailor-based, diesel-powered unloader is fitted with dust filters and a double-bellows discharge system, allowing for a rated unloading capacity of 300 tph. This represents an increase in throughput capacity of up to 30% compared to a single-loading bellows system.
Siwertell’s road-mobile unloaders are based on unique screw conveyor technology. According to the company, this ensures continuous high-capacity operations and reduced unloading times. The company’s unloaders also offer fuel-efficient operation, consuming 0.18 l of diesel during an average cement-handling operation.
Siwertell is part of Cargotec, a company listed on Nasdaq Helsinki exchange with sales of €3.5 billion in 2016. Siwertell specialises in dry bulk cargo handling. In addition to cement, its equipment can be used to handle alumina, biomass, coal, fertilizers, grain, and sulfur.
