The November 2014 issue includes a regional report on the cement sector in the Middle East and North Africa. This comprises an article by Suez Cement Group of Companies explaining how the group is working to advance environmental standards at its facilities across Egypt. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia’s Najran Cement Company provides details on the expansion plans and waste heat recovery projects at the Sultanah plant. FRITZ & MACZIOL and CIMAT have also co-written an article on logistics optimisation at Ciments de l’Atlas’ Ben Ahmed and Béni Mellal plants in Morocco, which you can read here.
