WEBINAR - Gas Flow Measurement in Cement Plants - a game changer in the optimisation of cement making
Cement manufacture is a dusty business. Inside process components such as pulverisers, crushers and gas transport pipes and also calciners, clinker coolers and tertiary air ducts a high amount of dust is carried with the process gas. This made it impossible to measure these gas flows correctly online. It also made it impossible to directly measure associated process parameters, such as enthalpy flows, correct operation set points for fans or fuel-to-air ratios for calciners.
With the advent of digital air flow measurement this has changed dramatically. Today, the PROMECON digital air flow measurement systems mean that gas flows can be measured drift free at temperatures ranging from cold to 1000°C and even higher.
In this webinar, Hans Conrads, CEO and Alexander Halm, Technical Sales Support at PROMECON, will discuss how their new digital gas flow measurement system can be used in the optimisation of a plant´s control system in order to run the process more flat lined and with lower energy consumption.
Ask the experts: In addition to a high-quality presentation, World Cement's Editor, David Bizley, will host a live Q&A with Hans and Alexander. Attendees will be able to submit questions live throughout the course of the webinar.
Added value: All registered attendees will receive a full recording of the presentation, so you can review the content whenever needed.
