SafeCom, one of Europe’s most prestigious, and the UK’s largest chemical regulatory conference, takes place on the 30 April 2015 at St. John’s Hotel in Solihull, Birmingham.

The conference, organised by Safeware Quasar Limited, is highly renowned and respected for the industry experts and calibre of speakers the event attracts.

SafeCom 2015 is an annual regulatory conference for chemical manufacturers, suppliers and retailers. The conference delivers a range of presentations pertaining to the most relevant activity impacting on industry, arming delegates with valuable, practical information when tackling the complexities of chemical regulatory compliance.

The SafeCom 2015 official agenda provides the details of the presentations and is available from www.safecom-conferences.co.uk.

This year's agenda covers a range of hot topics including:

  • Protecting Confidential Business Information (CLP Article 24)
  • Implementing a Harmonised Poison Information Service in Europe (CLP Article 45)
  • A review of future CLP and GHS amendments
  • A review of the Biocidal Product Regulations
  • Quick guide to REACH 2018

Earlier this month SafeCom extended a warm welcome to Mr Roberto Scazzola, Policy Advisor from the European Commission, who will present the latest updates on the Harmonised Poison Information Service. He joins an exceptional line up of representatives from ECHA, REACH Ready, Industry Trade Associations and expert stakeholders providing quality information and guidance. Everyone involved in chemical regulatory compliance will benefit from attending SafeCom 2015.

The inclusion of an industry exhibition will also return and run alongside the 2015 conference, and is ideal for those looking to speak to experts and experience the latest developments in the market first hand.

The conference will launch with an informal dinner on 29 April for those who wish to attend. This will provide a superb opportunity for delegates to network with peers and industry experts, as well as renew existing acquaintances.

Simon Robinson, Director at Safeware Quasar comments; “Once again we have worked hard to identify relevant regulatory changes that will impact on our delegates in the near future in order to provide useful information and clarification on what action is required to remain compliant.

“As in previous years, we expect the conference to be a sell-out event. Those planning to attend are advised to book soon due to limited availability.”
